Origin & Destination Surveys

Point-to-Point traffic study used to determine how vehicles traverse through multiple sites. These sites are compared side-by-side to see where vehicles entering a site (Origin) end up traveling, and approximately how much time it takes to get to a different site (Destination). Examples are traffic entering/exiting traffic circles, highways or parking areas.

Travel & Field Surveys

Travel and Field Surveys collect peoples’ travel data using oral and written surveys. This data has historically been collected by projects such as workplace studies, handing out survey cards to drivers, conducting side-of the road surveys and phone interviews.

Commercial Vehicle Surveys

Conduct Commercial Vehicle (CV) Travel Survey Services for the TxDOT Transportation Planning and Programming Division. Travel information collected through a daily trip log of the CV for one day will enable TxDOT to update travel demand models for transportation planning.

Workplace Surveys

Conduct Workplace & Special Generator Travel Survey Services for the TxDOT Transportation Planning & Programming Division. Travel information collected through surveying employees, visitors, customers, etc. will be utilized to update travel demand models for transportation planning.
