Randall Smith joined the team in 2002 as a part-time employee, initially assisting with manual turning movement counts before transitioning to a full-time role. While actively engaging in various GRAM projects and traveling across the United States to support GRAM operations, he has amassed extensive experience both in the field and the office.

Randall exemplifies a commitment to safety and possesses a diverse range of craft skills, consistently demonstrating professionalism and efficiency. His involvement in some of GRAM’s most specialized initiatives, such as the IDLEAIRE project, the National Parks Project, and the TxDOT Travel Study Surveys, enables him to meticulously plan and execute each data collection effort with exceptional attention to detail and project-specific expertise.
